This week we reviewed how to write a scientific procedure by tackling a very serious scientific challenge: making a PB&J sandwich. 🥪
Students wrote out their procedures step-by-step and then had to follow them exactly as written. Turns out, “put the peanut butter on the bread” leaves A LOT of room for interpretation. 😅
We had some questionable sandwiches, a few important lessons learned, and a whole lot of laughs…but most importantly, students saw firsthand why clear, specific, repeatable procedures matter in science!
