Hardee Junior High's Student Council held their annual canned food drive to help replenish the Hardee Help Center for the holidays. Students were encouraged to bring in canned goods during the months of October and November. The first-period class with the most canned goods collected during each collection week was rewarded with donuts and juice. Student Council was able to donate a total of 876.5 pounds of canned goods to help the homeless. The following classes received this reward:
Week 1 Collection Winner: October 25th-29th- Jame Adam's Class 7th Grade, 258 items donated
Week 2 Collection Winner: November 1st-5th- Mrs. Wandrey's Class 8th Grade, 276 items donated
Week 3 Collection Winner: November 8th-12th- Mrs. Leanne Moore's 6th Grade, 38 items donated
