4. Never run to or from the bus.
While You’re on the Bus
1. Follow the driver’s directions at all times.
2. Stay in your seat facing forward.
3. Keep your hands, feet, and belongings to yourself and out of the aisle.
4. Use inside voices—no yelling or loud noises.
5. No eating or drinking unless the driver allows it.
6. Keep backpacks, and books in your lap or under your seat.
Getting Off the Bus
1. Wait until the bus has completely stopped before standing up.
2. Use the handrail and take your time stepping down.
3. If you need to cross the road, walk 10 feet in front of the bus, make eye contact with the driver, and cross only when the driver signals it’s safe.
4. Never go back toward the bus for something you dropped — tell the driver first!
